How do I view my current disk usage on my Chillidog Hosting account?

1. Log into your cPanel.

To begin, log into your cPanel. When you signed up, your cPanel username and password was sent to you in your New Account Info email.

2. Click on Disk Usage.

Find or search for Disk Usage in the Files section of cPanel.

3. View your Disk Usage statistics.

Some of the more common folders where the majority of your disk space will be utilized are:

1. public_html - This directory houses your primary (or main) website.
2. Addon/Subdomain directories - If you have any additional websites (e.g. myaddondomain.com or test.example.com), these will have their own directory outside of the public_html directory.
3. MySQL - This directory houses any databases you might have.
4. Email Accounts - This directory houses your cPanel hosted email accounts (which includes your received and sent email messages).

4. View your detailed Disk Usage.

To drill down your disk usage further, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Disk Usage to sort your files by their size. Larger folders will appear at the top of the list.

5. Click the > next to a folder.

Click the arrow (>) next to a folder to sort nested files and folders. This is great for digging deeper into your web content and finding which files are consuming the most disk space on your hosting account!
