How do I customize my SPF record in cPanel?

A Sender-Policy-Framework, or SPF Record is important to ensure email is delivered and not rejected by receiver's email server. A SPF Record lists what servers are authorized to send on your domain's behalf. By default, we configure your SPF Record to send via Chillidog Hosting. If you use a 3rd party for email, you'll need to contact them for the correct entries to add to your SPF Record. To prevent breaking existing email, we do not recommend removing the existing record generated automatically for you. Instead, we recommend that you simply add additional providers to your approval list.

You can test your SPF Record using various online tools such as MXToolbox.

1. Log into your cPanel.

To begin, log into your cPanel. When you signed up, your cPanel username and password was sent to you in your New Account Info email.
